  1. That is NOT HIIT. If all you need is 30 or even 60 seconds of rest, your NOT going as hard as you can. If your going ALL OUT, there's no way that you can continue without at least 2 minutes of rest, if not 3 minutes of rest. This is NOT HIIT.
